Facilitators

Subject matter

The General Counsel's role has expanded significantly in recent years. This workshop will look at the growing responsibilities of the general counsel role - and ask if such growth threatens performance.

The discussion will focus on:

  • The areas of growth in the general counsel's role

  • The threats and opportunities they present

  • What practical solutions exist to enhance the role whilst maintaining a workload, which can be managed effectively?

Target audience:

  • Those who perceive that their role is expanding

  • Those who fear that they are not able to manage all elements of their role effectively, either through taking responsibility for areas outside their areas of expertise, or through the volume of issues within their remit.
