A model arbitration law, produced by UNCITRAL with the aim of harmonising national arbitration laws. Many countries have adopted the Model Law, either entirely or in part. The Arbitration Act 1996 contains many provisions based upon the Model Law, but English law has not adopted the entirety of the Model Law.
