Commercial organisations are increasingly addressing human rights considerations. The coming into force of section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 on 29 October 2015 has focused attention on the particular issue of slavery and trafficking. However, that is just the latest development in a trend which is putting the spotlight on human rights in the wider context.
