Maria Barclay joined PLC Inc. with over 10 years of finance experience. She worked for six years at the New York office of Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison and before that she worked for four years in the Auckland, New Zealand office of Bell Gully, a leading New Zealand firm. |
Catherine Chang joined PLC Inc. from Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP where she worked for over nine years as a corporate attorney. Before that, Catherine worked at both Morrison Cohen Singer & Weinstein and Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt. |
Caroline Danford joined PLC Inc. from Shearman & Sterling LLP where she was counsel and worked for over ten years in the bank finance group. Before that, she was an associate in the banking and finance group at Emmet Marvin & Martin. She also has a variety of business experience working in a managerial capacity for companies such as American Express and Citicorp Retail Services. She was also a National Trust Examiner for the US Treasury Department, Comptroller of the Currency. |
Tasha Hutchins joined PLC Inc. from Pfizer Inc. where she worked as a corporate attorney specializing in M&A transactions for their business transactions group. Before that she spent five years as a corporate associate at Dorsey & Whitney and before that she worked in the M&A group at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. |
Melanie Arad Fitzpatrick joined PLC Inc. from Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP's New York office where she worked in the tax department. From 2000-2005, Melanie was with Sullivan & Cromwell’s New York office, where she provided advice on the U.S. federal income tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, transactions involving partnerships, reorganizations, securities offerings and other tax matters. |
Nadia Khattak joined PLC Inc. from Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison where she worked for two years, primarily on acquisition financings. Before that, she worked for two years at McMillan Binch Mendelsohn, Toronto as a corporate attorney. |
Chris Lafferty joined PLC Inc. from Allen & Overy where he worked as an associate in the international capital markets and M&A groups. |
Sharon Makower joined PLC Inc. from Cablevision Systems Corporation in Long Island where she was associate general counsel. For over nine years, Sharon worked as a senior corporate attorney for Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel, specializing in securities and M&A. Before that she was a corporate attorney at Willkie Farr & Gallagher for over three years. |
Emily Malone joined PLC Inc. from Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison where she worked for three years as a corporate attorney, specializing in M&A and general corporate work. |
Heather McMaster joined PLC Inc. with over ten years of corporate debt and public equity experience. She worked as a senior corporate attorney in the securities department of Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison for four years. Before that, Heather worked as a corporate attorney for over six years at Stikeman Elliott in Toronto and Eastern Europe. |
Chris Millerchip founded PLC in the UK with Robert Dow in 1990. Prior to that he worked as a corporate lawyer in Slaughter and May. Chris will join PLC Inc. in spring 2008. |
Erlyne Nazaire joined PLC Inc. from Debevoise & Plimpton where she worked for 8 years as a corporate attorney in their international practice group. Erlyne’s practice at Debevoise was very broad based and included project finance, private M&A and joint ventures. |
Sarah Norris joined PLC from King & Spalding where she worked for two years in the firm’s finance group. Sarah studied bioethics at Cornell University before obtaining her law degree from American University, Washington College of Law. |
Jeroen Plink worked in the corporate department at Clifford Chance, Amsterdam, between 1996 and 2000 specializing in private equity transactions. During his time at Clifford Chance, Jeroen was seconded to the LA office of Latham and Watkins. In 2001, he founded Legistics Limited, a company developing software solutions for law firms. Jeroen joined PLC in 2002 as part of the acquisition of Legistics Limited by PLC. He is now the CEO of PLC Inc. |
Steven Shaber joined PLC with over ten years in legal practice. Steve represented diverse clients in complex transactions and other matters relating to IP, IT, outsourcing, e-commerce, data privacy and communications, most recently with Thelen Reid Brown Raysman & Steiner and GE Capital Corporation. He studied math and computer science at the University of Pennsylvania, went back to Wharton for an MBA in finance and has law degree from Columbia. |
Ilissa Watnik joined PLC Inc. with over six years' experience in the corporate and bankruptcy fields. Before joining PLC, she was at Debevoise & Plimpton in the corporate and bankruptcy group, and prior to that at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. She also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a business analyst. |
