Counterfeit websites: ISPs can be forced to block access | Practical Law
Trade mark owners have been given a boost by the Court of Appeal's decision to uphold the High Court's landmark 2014 order requiring internet service providers to block access to websites selling counterfeit goods. The decision will be of particular interest to brand owners that regularly tackle websites selling counterfeit goods from outside of the jurisdiction and also to internet service providers, which will be forced to bear the costs of implementing website-blocking orders.
